What is Visions?

to be a home to locals, a cool bistro to our business dinners, and overall, a place to come and relax.  Gentle jazz in the background, a subtle glow from our colorful lights, and a friendly face in our kitchen.

With fresh seafood as a focus, the menu changes often, highlighting what's in season and keeping in mind the cuisine of America, with accents provided by the many backgrounds of it's people.  America is far from where it started from the great influx of all sorts of cultures, we try to reflect that in our menu.  Mixing traditional cuisines with interesting twists, we hope to show you a fun, yet comfortable mix of foods and wines that are sure to please.  


We also realize that you need value and experience, we'll provide that by keeping up
on fun promotions and offering many ways to try Visions.  Maybe you'll love to get our $12.95 Two Course Lunch?  or relax on a Sunday with our "Bottomless Mimosa Brunch"?  Stop in Sundy or Tuesday and have Half Price Wines to go along with your Dinner?  Whatever the occasion or event, Visions wants to earn your business...



Being in the restaurant trade for over 23 years, from any of my other intimate restaurants,  to Executive Chef for McCormick & Schmick's, I've been able to bring quality meals to a lot of people.  In those years, I've learned that people generally want a consistent, well prepared meal that appeals to their sense of taste, smell and visual...WITHOUT breaking their budget.  Over my last 35 years in the Bethesda area, I see that this is still the reality, especially now.


Visions Restaurant is here to encompass a combination of worldwide flavors that have imparted themselves in the cuisine of America. Our guests should experience phenomenal food with clean, bold flavors that aren't complicated and that ALWAYS accent the main dish.


  I want my guests to enjoy the moment with their party, and Visions to become one aspect of the event of coming together over food. 


Whether a Barbecue luncheon or a swanky dinner for dignitaries, my staff and I are committed to your satisfaction.  As opposed to some Chef / Owners, I am hands on, responsible for every element of your experience.
